Construction Process
How long does it take to build a pool in Florida? expand_more
Expect 3-4 weeks for county permits, then 8-12 weeks of active construction. We provide status updates at every stage through our 21-step process.
What is shotcrete and why is it better than gunite? expand_more
Shotcrete uses a pre-mixed wet blend that produces a denser, stronger, more watertight shell than gunite's dry mix. It performs better in Florida soil conditions and resists cracking.
How many inspections does a pool require? expand_more
4 mandatory county inspections: structural (rebar), plumbing/electrical, deck footers, and final. We schedule and coordinate all inspections.
Do you handle permits? expand_more
Yes. We submit permits within 7 days of contract signing across Pasco, Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Hernando counties. You never coordinate with the building department.
What is your 21-step process? expand_more

What is Pebble Sheen? expand_more
Pebble Sheen is a natural aggregate pool interior finish by Pebble Technology International. Smooth texture, wide color palette, and lifetime manufacturer warranty. It is our standard finish on every pool.
What is the difference between Pebble Sheen and PebbleTec? expand_more
Both are by the same manufacturer. Pebble Sheen has a smoother texture with smaller aggregate. PebbleTec has a coarser, more textured finish. Both carry lifetime warranties. Customer selects.
Is a saltwater pool better than chlorine? expand_more
Salt pools use a generator (IntelliChlor) to produce chlorine on-demand from dissolved salt. The water feels softer, there is no chlorine smell, and maintenance is simpler. Every Acqua Bella pool includes a salt system as standard.
