Materials staged before the dig.
Pavers, rebar bundles, plumbing supplies delivered the day before excavation. Access paths walked, utilities marked. The quieter the first day, the cleaner the rest of the build.
Pool and spa shapes cut into the earth.
Surveyed footprint staked, machine digs to over-excavated depth for the rebar cage. Wood bond-beam forms go up on the perimeter. Orange safety fence around the hole at the end of every day.
Rebar tied by hand every 12 inches.
The structural grid that turns a hole in the ground into a swimming pool. Main drains, returns, skimmers and auto-fill lines all roughed in at this stage so they get fully embedded in the shotcrete.
Every fitting photographed before it disappears.
PVC stubs come up through the steel for returns, lights, skimmers and auto-fill. We photograph the entire plumbing layout before shotcrete goes over it. If a line ever fails you will know exactly where it runs.
Wet-mix concrete sprayed in one pour.
Not gunite. Shotcrete is wet-mix, applied at pressure, denser and more water-tight. Crew moves around the pool in a continuous loop so there are no cold joints. The shell cures 28 days to full strength.
Waterline tile set on the bond beam.
Tile and coping meet at the waterline. Setting them during cure keeps the build on one schedule. Client-selected mosaic accents on the spa wall, travertine coping on the perimeter.
Pentair manifold commissioned.
Jandy valves, IntelliFlo3 pump, salt cell, heater. Every circuit pre-labeled. The equipment pad lives on one side of the house so you are not listening to a pump from your bedroom window.
Paver deck in, pool ready for interior.
Travertine pavers laid flush to the coping, grades pitched away from the pool for drainage. The shell is acid-washed down to bare concrete in preparation for interior finish.
Interior finish troweled by hand.
Pebble Sheen mixed, troweled, acid-exposed to reveal the polished aggregate. Lifetime manufacturer warranty starts the day the finish cures. Client selected from the full color palette.

Pool filled, IntelliChlor salt commissioned, IntelliCenter paired to the homeowner phone. Owner-operator walkthrough covers every piece of equipment, the warranty packet, and the first service visit schedule.
