Licensed. Verified. On Record.
Three active Florida state licenses. Every one searchable at MyFloridaLicense.com.
Florida law requires separate licenses for pool construction, general contracting, and plumbing work. Acqua Bella holds all three, issued by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). The records below are screenshots taken directly from the state's licensing portal. You can verify each one yourself using the link beneath each record.
Note: These licenses are held by Richard Drouet, the qualifying agent and owner of Drome Contracting Services Inc., operating as Acqua Bella Pools & Spa. Florida law requires licenses to be held by the individual qualifying agent.
Certified Pool/Spa Contractor
CPC1457711
Authorizes construction, repair, and servicing of residential and commercial swimming pools, spas, and hot tubs in any Florida county.
Certified General Contractor
CGC1515971
Unlimited scope: authorizes any type of construction work with no restrictions on building type. Required for pool decks, equipment rooms, and structural work.
Certified Plumbing Contractor
CFC1427924
Authorizes installation and repair of all plumbing systems including pool piping, water supply, drains, gas lines, and solar heating connections.
Why Florida requires three separate licenses.
Pool License (CPC)
Required for all pool construction and repair work. Florida does not allow a general contractor to build a pool without this specific certification.
General Contractor (CGC)
Covers the structural and civil work around the pool: decks, retaining walls, equipment pads, and any structural modifications to your property.
Plumbing License (CFC)
Required for all underground plumbing, gas line connections, and equipment piping. Many pool builders subcontract this work. We hold it in-house.
